Biografía
Hijo de Richard Sisto y Reedy Gibbs, su hermana mayor, Meadow, lo introdujo en el mundo de la actuación. Creció en Chicago, Illinois. Ha trabajado como actor en numerosas ocasiones, especialmente en papeles de personajes con desórdenes mentales, y en los últimos años también cabe destacar su trabajo entre bambalinas. Con su amigo Ethan Embry produjo Taken en 1998 y ha actuado en películas como Three Women of Pain y One Point O, además de realizar el papel de Jesucristo en el largometraje Jesús.
Desde abril de 2003 posee su propia productora, Dima Entertainment.
Estuvo casado con la actriz Marisa Ryan desde 1993 y hasta su divorcio en 2002.[2]
Es admirador y fanático de Julio César y por eso lo interpretó en la miniserie de 2002.
Sisto protagonizó en la televisión estadounidense la comedia Suburgatory que se estrenó en la ABC en otoño de 2011 y que tras tres temporadas completas fue cancelada el 9 de mayo de 2014.
En 2014 también realizó la serie The Returned, estrenada en Netflix.
