Juegos Europeos de 2023

Los Juegos Europeos de 2023 (III Igrzyska Europejskie, Igrzyska Europejskie 2023) será la tercera edición de los Juegos Europeos que se llevarán a cabo en Cracovia (Polonia) del 21 de junio al 2 de julio de 2023. Estos juegos contarán con 253 eventos en 35 disciplinas deportivas.

Elección de la sede

La elección oficial del anfitrión de los Juegos Europeos 2023 tuvo lugar en una Asamblea General del EOC en Minsk el 22 de junio de 2019, donde se decidió por unanimidad que Cracovia y la región circundante de la Pequeña Polonia celebrarían los Juegos.  La votación fue a mano alzada .

With the caveat that European Athletics is still in talks with the European Olympic Committee on the possibility of athletics being showcased at the 2023 European Games via the inclusion of all leagues of the European Team Championships. These talks are ongoing and should they prove successful Madrid will be offered the opportunity to host the 2025 European Team Championships Super League, while Krakow will host the 2023 ETC.[2]
