El campeonato de motociclismo de 2006 comenzó el 26 de marzo, con el Gran Premio de España disputado en Jerez de la Frontera y terminó el 29 de octubre de 2006, con el Gran Premio de la Comunidad Valenciana, disputado en Cheste.
